= dont know if that will fit GB? and it would definitely hit either the bottom or grill? plus IMO it would look funny at the front and destroy the look of the car? I've seen these on XR6 turbos and it looks shite

= I didnt chop anything on my HDI .....I was going to ? but scott stopped me and said why would you do that ......if it fits, leave it he said...

= Have you looked at AVO's one? Process west? OR if you are really keen.....just get one made specifically for your setup/car....I was going to go down this path until I got the HDI cheap....

Illhave to check just thought it was 2.5 cause the piping on the end looked they same but it may change size on that bend before the cooler :)

My cooler sits really low urs seems to sit higer mine doesn't stick out in the grill area at all, look wise it won't matter I want a black one, I couldn't give a fuck about chrome bling my car is a sleeper...

If it comes to it I'll get one made, might even do something different and get a water to air one lol

You'll find that I'm right  :D

my core is fairly tall, but yeah I did mine that way so I didn't have to chop the top and it helped me fit the end tank pipes better especially coming around the bends..I 2 will be most likely painting the core black next week...

If it comes to it I'll get one made, might even do something different and get a water to air one lol
Probably better that way GB? Nothing beats a core that snuggles in nicely at the front ( like you said sleeper / stealth look )

That really high hp really expensive one would fit good if it was 75mm thick and different in and outlets, I've messaged them to see what they can do

Re: Jaydece's Mini Development Project

Hey All,

Got a mini update...in the process of a v2 setup on my FMIC kit...

Basically threw out the HDI kit and started all over again ( keeping the core of course)...here are some pics of it complete :)

I've painted the core black and it looks sooo stealth.. I love it!

Whats been done: -

1/ custom making and re doing all piping on the cold / hot side in 60mm and 2.25". This gives me more room for play and bending around the engine bay
2/ core and piping painted in black. ( black turbosmart silicone / murray clamps )
3/ custom making heat shield / air box for the new setup ( ran out of time )
4/ new flange and piping on the turbo outlet side
5/ tidying up some loose ends and cleaning things up

Notes:-
- Got a pic of scotts beading machine, bloody fantastic! easy to use and very affective!
- Dont like the fuel lines where they are, but they will be relocated and moved once I get my FPR & split fuel rail kit installed.....hopefully soon!
- Considering of moving my oil catch can to the middle
