Car Servicing at MRT performance

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

I get my Liberty GT serviced at MRT.

I have been going to MRT since I bought my first WRX in 1999.

They put in Mobil 1 oil in for the same price Subaru will charge you for standard factory oil. (MRT claim they are cheaper than the Subaru service).

They will be give better parts sometime chaeper than factory if they have them, like spark plugs, air filters, brake rotors etc

I trust them with my car and have found them to be very helpful with any info i have asked for.

From two discussions with mrt they had Nfi what they were talking about

Even Greg (or whatever the proprieetors name is frankly I don't care to waste memory space with it) has Nfi Based on my discussions with him, including one to enquire about the stage 2 upgrade to my mates my11 Sti.

They are overpriced, underachieving, shit talking hyperbolators with well documented scare tactics that do little but cement their lack of understanding of basic mechanical work let alone high performance work. In fact were they to actually take heed of half their warnings given off the cuff, they'd probably have less problems themselves with leaned out motors, pitted bearings and blow headgaskets.

Been taking my MY10 Subaru Liberty to the dealer for its regular service. Considering trying MRT Performance in Rhodes Sydney. I have read a number a good reviews on them online. Wanted to know if any members have had their cars serviced by them and how you found them. Is it worth switching or should I stick with the dealer. Heard that dealer uses a lot of apprentices and MRT use fully qualified subu mechanics. Thank you.

Go to Subaru Lindfield.
I have tried several places since I got my car and they where by far the best and the fairest price wise.
They where also the only guys who didn't overfill the engine oil. This to me shows they are actually paying attention to the job and not just
punching through as many services as they can in a day.

Mrt rebuilt my cars engine for the first owner to be more reliable... Something went wrong.... Engime didn't even get fully run in.....Engine was rebuilt again but another company.

when I purchased the car I rang them and they wouldn't tell me anything about my car, at first they said they would if I proved ownership and showed my licence then when I had this infor they said no and we're very rude and hung up on me! They said if i took the car too them they would tell me more about it but nit over the phone, im like in another state..

lots of parts on my car are sub standard and poorly built, a hack job so to speak. I'm getting rid of everything they had built for the car as its all junk, there is even videos by the on the build of my car... Pitty there new engine didn't last, feel sorry for the original owner with all the money he wasted with them

Hit a raw nerve did I....

Car was rebuilt as per what I was told and the you tube video, u can check it out in my thread if u want its in there shows the engine being built by them, there is nothing to hide, it tells you what they did with this car, I even rang the original owner... No I don't have the invoice as they wouldn't give it too me

What went wrong was that it used heaps and heaps of oil... I know it wasn't fully run in as u can see the odometer on the video and i wAs told when it was rebuilt aNd when i got the car it wasn't run in from the second build, the other company told me just about everything which they did to the car, I have had my car back there twice, list of the build is in my thread they emailed me info on the cars build

I've rang every company that has worked on the engine side of things and even the turbo builder

The company would know who I was when they said supply proof of ownership and licence, they were the ones that changed there minds

I'm sure the guys on here know I'm not a forum fan boy.

Mrt put sub standard parts on the car, parts that don't work as they should be if made correctly

I spoke to the original owner he told me he sold it so he could buy a new rs8 or 6 audi.... But part of that could have been due to this cars issues

I don't think it's inconclusive at all, u my friend don't know what your talking about, there are many people that know of my car due to the you tube videos, I suggest u do a bit of research into my car before u open your big mouth,

I have only stated what has happened, don't think one could be held liable for facts that are the truth, but it's obvious u seem to know Better

Good day fellow workshop troll

Actually, it's libel ... not liable.

And in Australia, it's defamation ... not libel.

And there's nothing in <GB>'s post about his experience that is even remotely defaming.

If I told you what I know about MRT, you might think it opens the door for defamation action, so I'll just suggest you could have made a much better choice on where to take your car.

Like a drunk guy down the pub.
