Just went out and started cutting the bottom section of the engine cover to fit over the Perrin, then realised the previous owner has cut the sides too much anyway so air can escape through the sides.
Sigh. 2 weeks wait and $70 for nothing. Now I have to get my own engine cover cut. But I'll get it done professionally so it looks OEM.

Contact Mordy Auto and see if they have one for sale. Might be cheap?

I'm not buying a 3rd one
It's fine I can just cut my stock one, doesn't matter.

You could get foam tape from Clark rubber to seal the gap. They originally have a foam strip around the edge.

Got the Perrin turbo inlet pipe installed today. Huge thanks to Justin for doing it!

That pipe is so annoying and not worth 1/10th of the trouble to put it in
But it's on now and working fine, no CEL's after all these mods. Ordering VF52 soon and then getting the tune with the 3 port grimspeed solenoid. Hopefully can book that tune in sometime in early April.
