Pink Floyd radio show this sat night

Postby Ric » Fri Jan 11, 2008 4:04 pm

One of my workmates is involved with a regular radio show on 3RRR on saturday nights (midnight to 2am).
During January, the other guys all go on holiday, and he has the show to himself, so he renames it to:
"The Sensible Shoe Sessions" and runs a different theme each week.
(Try to say the name a few times quickly, and you'll get an idea of how his mind works ;))

You can hear it on 102.7 MHz in Melbourne, or by going to http://www.rrr.org.au and clicking on the "stream" button.

Anyway, I'm the guest tomorrow night, and we're talking about Pink Floyd, from the 1970's through to 2007.
There will be a few interesting tracks played you'll never have heard anywhere else... ;)

If you're awake at midnight, and don't have anything better to do, tune in! :D

:D I'll only be talking, I'll let David, Roger, Nick, Rick, and a few friends do the singing 8)

(Depending on how it goes, David Bowie, David Crosby & Graham Nash (i.e. half of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young), may get a sing, as well as a great Sydney cover band :P )

Hmmm, didn't go quite to plan.
I had a hard time getting a word in edgewise with a regular guest who was pretty nti-pink floyd.
Someone I spoke to afterwards thought it was ok, but I thought it could have been a lot better ;)
