Introduce yourself

Hello new member from Melbourne

Postby augo » Sat Feb 11, 2012 10:32 pm

Gday everyone,
Thought it was time to say hello since I've been spending a bit of time on here.
My names Dallas, living in Box Hill area Melbourne. 34, got a girl Bianca and 4 month old boy Chase.
I've had and still have heaps of cars and motorbikes...Highly modified R100 mazda, Highly modded Nissan patrol ute, 1954 rat style VW Beetle, Xs650 bobber, way too many rego's!
We just had our Forester written off from the Xmas day hail, I was just about to buy another one when I saw Gambits Liberty parked in Collingwood one day...
That man is to blame for me now owning a bspec wagon :D
It's basically going to be our family wagon, so will only be doing small tastefull mods. Wheels, drop the height a bit, cai, exhaust and tune.
Look forward to meeting the Liberty crew

G'day Dallas, and welcome.

You must live close to me. I'm in Blackburn.

Looking forward to some pics of your new car and perhaps a catch up at the next kebab night, Friday, in Mitcham.

Good luck with your tasteful mods. :)

Welcome aboard Dallas!

I joined a few months ago, get myself a 3RB wagon, and am around the corner from you in Doncaster.

Good luck with the mods...

Cheers fellas, can't believe so many people are so close, I hardly ever see Bspecs or sti's around.
Just did the resonectomy this morning, took all of about 20 mins..ha ha.
Will take some pics soon, but nothing much to see yet just a stock standard black wagon for now.

Welcome Augo. I live near Box Hill also. Hope to see you around Whitehorse Road.
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

Thanks Fellas, yeah will try and come down Friday night. See how little Chase pulls up...
Heres a quick pic off my phone, I'll get the camera out soon and take some decent pics. Got some pretty dark tint on the back windows,
Going to look pretty stealth once I get wheels and drop her a bit :D

ha ha cool. Did the resonectomy the other day just waiting for a panel filter now. Got another grille to do a bit of a cut n shut mesh stylee,
then new exhaust system and tune. Thats about it for engine mods, they go good enough for a daily shopping cart!

Got a rear sway bar on the way and some lower control arm bushes, rides like a cheap boat at the moment.
Trying to avoid getting coilovers but will probably end up running them. Don't want a harsh ride like my old Foz

Not going to lower it too much, just want to match whatever wheels I get to have it sitting nice against the guards.
Just going to wait for the right wheels to pop up at a decent price and work it all out from there.
