Bluetooth with MY08 GTB Satnav?

I would like to know if you can retro fit (did Kenwood units have the input) to install bluetooth in an MY08 GTB with the factory stereo and satnav.

Requirement is to have it integrated so it works through the factory speakers.

Parrots work well but expect to pay $300+ for installation.
There has been some good results with IPod integration as well with the MKi9100.
The car kit company do pretty good work but tell them you have the Mcintosh.
It was $160 normal installation but $320 for a install with the Mcintosh.

Many people advise ripping out the Mc and installing a new double din HU with Bluetooth. I quite like the look of this Pioneer unit.

Together with a new fascia from PhattGT $400 and then you have the best of both worlds. If it was me I would go the new HU. Do it right once and forget about it. I've spent nearly $1000 with the Advanced ice and the parrot and it's Ok but not nearly as good as my Pioneer F20BT all in one unit in my MX5.
I have a fascia from Phatt at my work and am just waiting for the new Pioneer HU to be released in Aus and I'm dumping the Mc.

If you have the audio in via headphone jack in the center console cubby, the Belkin AirCast Auto is an affordable solution with decent performance for calls and music streaming.
There's a few reviews on the forum.

Its for a mate who needs it badly for work as he spends alot of time in the between buisnesses.

I'll find out if he has audio in. He wont change the HU.

Generally speaking the option are:

FM modulators:
can be ok-ish or abysmal... the upper limit is FM sound quality, the lower limit is... interference.

BT to aux in:
Belkin AirCast Auto (or a similar product sold in the Apple store) relatively easy to install (if having stereo aux-in), decent performance for calls and music streaming.

CD changer adapters:
Have to remove Head Unit to install the plug so best do a reverse camera at the same time (if compatible with your HU)
Uses rear HU plug for external CD changers to connect to iPod/iPhone, MP3/USB or BT. Anycarlink, Xcarlink and more.
Anycarlink is one I'm also considering as they do iPhone/iPod + BT for USD $130.
Some charge iPhones, some don't, but pass-through charge adapters are readily available.
I cant find an adapter that does iPhone, MP3/usb AND BT... (but happy with the Belkin for as long as the cables hold out)

Parrot: great, but pricey if bought new and professionally installed (see above) - $600-ish or bought S/H and self installed $200 - 300 + adapter leads.

Aftermarket HU with the works: Sky's the limit!

If you have music and or radio on your bluetooth phone with the above options your car will be alternatively a mobile disco, or mobile office!

Anyway, best to google image search the HU to establish the model number, then you can check compatibility on the mfg's websites for the various adapters
edit: I mainly researched my own HU, the 6CD 6button McIntosh PF-2824I-A, aka the PF-28241... The model number is key info... but the info above is also for general use.
I'll add this smartphone/BT adapter taxonomy to the relevant pages when I get a chance...
