Haven't any of you clowns noticed that someone's been stealing your intercoolers?

just looking at it quick i see two possible major problems

1. fuel lines rubbing on the lower side of the cooler piping which will rub through one day and you know what happens next (bring the snags)

2. the cooler piping is to close to a main power source (ie main power cables from the battery) big problems if this collides one day

im not having a go im just pointing out possible problems just like i did when Paul at Pulse build that twin turbo lib but he didnt listen and some of us know what happened to that

fuel lines are clear on the lower side of the cooler piping. possible problem has not had an issue yet and as you know cooler and piping is on my to do list. ;)

CORE: - Intercooler Size: 600x300x78 rated to about 800HP
3" inlet / outlet
0.5 - 1 psi pressure drop @ 23 psi

But I'm re doing it next week all in 2.25" piping using donuts, mandrel bent pipes, murray clamps with turbosmart silcone joiners, hump hoses and reducers.

For you GB you'd probably go 2.5" minimum both sides or even maybe 2.75" inch?
But it would be a bitch to get those pipes around the front and around the engine bay IMO...thats why I'm redoing mine all in 2.25" to give me more room to play with

ive done some math flow figures and found that 2.5 should flow enough before airspeed gets too high an turbulent, plus the throttle body is 2.5" and my turbo out let is 2"

how much chopping did you do? i was looking at that size cooler but think the f6 falcon one might fit better
https://www.plazmaman.com/shop/index.ph ... itemId=255

this would fit straight in but the hp ratings are huge!! might be a little thick

= dont know if that will fit GB? and it would definitely hit either the bottom or grill? plus IMO it would look funny at the front and destroy the look of the car? I've seen these on XR6 turbos and it looks shite

= I didnt chop anything on my HDI .....I was going to ? but scott stopped me and said why would you do that ......if it fits, leave it he said...

= Have you looked at AVO's one? Process west? OR if you are really keen.....just get one made specifically for your setup/car....I was going to go down this path until I got the HDI cheap....
