I have no idea as I don't see the point, I do enough high speed when I go to Europe and play on the Autobahn as it is. I prefer twisty roads than than high speed.
anyone can drive fast in a stright line... lets throw some corners and stuff in for some real driving.

Agreed, I prefer acceleration and handling to top speed because I'm never ever going to get up to top speed but acceleration and handling are used always.

If the car is not going pass 180kmph, its possible you could have JDM, it if was imported.

I don't know it didn't make it to 5th was doing over 4000 in 4th I think... Can't quite remember.

I was wondering if it might be limited. It is a liberty and not a legacy so it's not jdm but I wasn't sure if our cars were delimited or not

That´s great, but just the speedo, with GPS it will be around 245 km/h (the same with my car, the speedo goes over 260)

Maybe your 3.0R, but my 6MT need a while from 230 until 245 km/h - not so much pushing. But it is stable at this speed, with 225/45.

Auto's are limited at 230 or 250? something like that, 270 limited for manuals in the ECU. Easily changed and I don't doubt on a straight enough road like the Autobahn a GT could reach 270.
I made 200 easily in my 6MT GT on basically stock power, I will never do it again though was just for a "life achievement". Only reason I did it was due to being on a special road I know of down near Phillip Island that is dead straight for about 6km with no trees nearby and no houses because it's farm land.
Putting that much stress on the tyres can lead to a blow out, and at those speeds I don't want to think about what would happen.

Yes the Auto box's are limited to 250. I can confirm this one.
The rations on 4th and 5th are not that far apart so you won't really notice a difference for the boys new to the auto libs.

Mind you though... I have heard there are big differences in the auto box's from pre vs post and 3.0 vs GT.

my 2.5i did 180km/h. did you have your foof flat to the floor, maybe ur carpet mat was jammed up there, or it was stuck in third.

Well i just obtained my manual 2008 b spec 3.0R and it maxed out 260km/h exact in 6th gear in S# mode, i'm guessing would really be just under 250kms since they always show a bit more. It's still stock for now but i would definitely not be doing it again until i have fitted fully adjustable external resivor coilovers, Swabars, Race compound brake pads, and of course road legal semi-slicks. don't sook it was in a controlled environment.

---But ahh just to say back in the day with my first lib, a 2002 rx 2.5, 5-speed man, i was amazed how Subaru had so accurately engineered for 5th gear to be hitting the limiter right at 240km/h which was the last indicated speedo number. pretty cool, but theres no need to do it everyone going that quick is boring anyway going sideways is way better

I would be worried about braking at 260 to be honest :S. Car feels heavy enough under heavy braking at 120.
