Definitely one crazy install.
Such amazing work too, looks so clean. Still can't get over how fucking huge that thing is.

looks good, maybe cut that small section in the middle below license plate to show it off a bit more!

Did you have to trim the bumper much to clear the core?

looks good, maybe cut that small section in the middle below license plate to show it off a bit more! = I would love to do this but it would loose the structural integrity of the lower bumper, I could get away with it if I placed a grilled mesh behind it, see how we go?

Did you have to trim the bumper much to clear the core? = yes the grille and bumper was trimmed back, but to be honest it wasn't much, I was lucky in some retrospect

Mini Update: Went to Scott's house tonight to get my car pressure tested, he wanted to make sure my FMIC kit was okay and no obvious leaks were present...

Scott made a 3" bung type plate that plugged into my inlet pipe....and used his air gun with a gauge to measure how much PSI was being pressured ( sorry forgot to take pictures )

When we started pumping in around 15psi of air we could hear all this hissing sounds and no pressure building...It was originating around my turbo inlet pipe...

We found some more hoses under the manifold that connect to the perrin inlet pipe very loose or off... :angry2: :angry2: FFS!

After taking off my boost controller, bracket, many bolts and disconnected many other things........ONCE FARKING AGAIN I found theses hoses not clamped or AT LEAST cable tied to there connections..... :angry2: :angry2: NOT HAPPY!!!!! All I can say is FAIL.......HP FARKING FAIL....

After soo much FARKING around and re checking we started getting some pressure building to about 30-40psi of air......couldn't find any major leaks besides the odd clamp here and there needing extra tightening around the FMIC pipes and BOV area.

When I drove the car home I gave it a few spirited runs and noticed boost does not climb above 11-12psi now?...

Car drives normal, no jerking nor stalling but just wont build boost......don't know whats going on there....Scott reckons maybe another hose has come off ....but I couldn't see or hear anything obvious....will check tomorrow when I get home from work....

Do you custom make a replacement for that S pipe?

Hey Phat,

Thanks for posting up the info above... :)

Hopefully in the next 2 weeks I will be re doing the whole intercooler piping from the bottom tanks up....I hope to make it neater and piss off all the HDI piping as I find it cheap and nasty....scotty will be making all the pipes from scratch and I'll spray them black to give it the stealth look....dont know about the core still?

So having said the above looks like I wont be getting my new tune / other bits fitted til about march?

I want to get these last bits really right :D

ehehehe Dan? Well It's not totally cheap and nasty....I just want mine to be SUPER neat and because I modified the original kit, it turned out the way it did?

I'm sure with your new engine and modification you will make the kit fit perfectly on with no drama's....email me if you have any drama's in the process, I'm happy to help!

The best thing is the core, really keeps the temp down and flow is Xcellent! after a hard run the cooler is warm on one side and cool on the other....meaning it's doing it job!

the issue is mrt building shit piping, the throttle body and the cooler pipe line up at different angles. the tuner thinks there is a massive restriction in the cooler, im just going to bin the lot and start again, ill give you a holla when i get to this stage thanks
