too bad you missed out on the legacygt photo comp, those pictures would have gotten in for sure. One of mine got in, i think they like to throw one or two non-US cars into it, mine has been picked last 3 years now, and it doesn't look as good as yours does!

Your Lib is looking stunning Gambit. If I can find one fault, and it took a while, is the rear is looking a touch too low, but only slightly.

yep agreed, its been niggling at me for the last few days, i have been weighing up whether i drop the front or lift the rear a tad, but my concern if you look at the side on shot, is that center muffler is fairly low.

Yeah kind of glad i missed it as the car is missing one crucial element.. a front lip or full aero splitter.

I didn't realise it was torcs car from rexnet! I absolutely loved that build thread.

To be honest I'm seriously reconsidering my project now and looking at having a chat to torc about purchasing if he can hold off a month or so.

Hey Guys, Big update for me.

Just last week i took the car back to get an E85 tune done at Springy Motors just in time for the Heathcote drags, and now happy to report that the wagon is now making 302kws ! Car is now officially animal! So first Gen 4, 2.5lt Turbo 6 speed 'Wagon i might add' in the 300 club :D

This is my pump 98 vs E85 tune with slightly more boost:

and AFR on E85

Tuner said there is a lot more in it, he had to limit it, as i have maxed out my single aeromotive 340 fuel pump and the current injectors. Once i upgrade to my duel pump setup and ID2000's then who knows ;)

Then off to Heathcote on the Sunday to see what i could do. Unfortunately i got there late and had to leave early so only managed to squeeze in 3 runs. Decided to run in full street trim, minus spare wheel, bearing in mind at my last corner weight session the car weighed in at 1609kg with next to no fuel ! The first run was the best with a 12.46 @ 112mph, then false started second run and then third and final run was a 12.78 @ 115mph. First time at the drags and I was stuggling for traction and my shifts were not perfect as in all my runs i kept hitting the rev limiter before changing gears :( need more practice. Although car drove brilliant, and now I just need launch control and flat foot shift enabled.

All in all very happy with the wagon, its the perfect daily with supurb roadcar manners and lots of power to keep me happy for a while :D

Go the moonshine!

Just a note on your AFRs. They are not correct and have obviously measured Lambda and applied to static gasoline conversion.

How's the throttle response?

Thanks guys! Was great to get the support of all the liberty boys there.

Throttle response is insane to say the least, it comes onto boost so early its staggering, car is totally transformed. I chuckle everytime i open the throttle up.

Anyone who is thinking of running E85, should seriously just do it !!
Its bloody awesome and i am never going back to pump 98. :D
I want to see more high HP libs running around and out of the woodwork ;) I think we gave the WRX boys a bit of a surprise, i had a few of the club guys come over gob smacked! hhahaha
