Yeah I just need to run spacers to drive the car to and from track days myself, so I can mount semis on my weds.

Spacers won't be legal either... so that's not really a sustainable solution.

Apparently the bolt on hubcentric spacers can be engineered if you wanted to. Would never use the floating type, but from all reports hubcentric ones are pretty safe.

Spacers suck indeed, but I could live with something that was only 3-5mm max.

Im just going to throw it out there, but the facelift spec B wheels suck.

Well just checked it out and about 25mm would just do it...so yeah, way too much...not sure what I will do now.

No one would happen to have a spare set of STI rims I could borrow for a day do they??!!

trev you should of asked me! i have 2 sets of wheels that can clear brembos! gambit is brrowing a set for the weekend but! if you need them after this weekend let me know!

Down at Rye...they had quite a few cops going around finding cars and bringing them back to a station they had setup to do inspections. About 3 inspectors going through the cars that were being brought in.

Was that blitz in rye here?

As I turned onto that road leaving the beach I went past the number plate recognition van and then got pulled into the breatho station. No problems there but then I got told that my car had unpaid fines, news to me. After a quick check it turned out that it was the previous owner.

Surely once a transfer of ownership goes through VicRoads could update their database with unpaid fines etc?

Naa, this was happening along Point Nepean Rd right in the middle of Rye. They blocked off one of the car parks and turned it into a inspection station and had cops running around bringing people back to it. But I did see that breath station you are talking about when I was going to a mates place. But I turned just before it though to go into his street.

Yeah, you would think once transfer of ownership papers go through they would transfer those fines off the car and onto the previous owner or something...
