[QLD] WTB: Struts and springs. Gen2 Lib or GC8 Prez.

Postby Ren-dog » Thu Dec 22, 2011 2:45 pm

I'm currently looking for a full set of 4 struts and springs for my 98 Gen2 Liberty (Sedan AWD)

I have also been informed that the GC8 gear will fit with the possibility of changing the top hats if required. Edit: Also GDB and GDA gear will fit.

Need them in good condition with lowish KLMS.

Would love some STi GC8 gear but im willing to go for standard for the right price. Not really after lowered gear because this town has rubbish roads and drive ways, i bottom out getting into the servo.

I'm in QLD 4820, so shipping is a high probability.

I will respond to PM's, Emails to Ren-dog(at)hotmail(dot)com(dot)au, txt's or calls to 04 57 59 84 57.

Cheers,
Ren-dog

use GDA or GDB gear in Gen2's (up to MY04 STi)

correct top hats and designed for heavier car

I've had this experience - that is correct. GDA/GDB both fit, but GDB is probably closer in terms of wait to Gen2

yes, if you look through my threads you'll see i had a gen2 GTB Legacy wagon with 2004 STi struts/ springs, ect
also an SF5 GT forester

the GC8 gear has different bolt spacing of the rear top-hats

WRX gear up to 06 (maybe 08) is still compatible and bolt in.
05 STi and onwards STi's have different hub bolt spacing on the strut feet and need modification to fit
