The kit always contains 6x matched injectors (as a set) supplied by Powerflow injection - it is true that those who buy their own injectors can have issues. The kit doesnt contain injectors if the customer wants to supply their own - common request.

The kit is complete in either non intercooled or intercooled- either way is fine you just have to tune to the operational parameters of this kit - ie to max inlet temp. We do the same with our successful Subaru 4 cyl kits, either way is fine. Supercharger in same location and same operational parameters. The kit has been exported to countries where tools and tuning very limited - the outcomes have been successful and reported on here with direct links to those forums

The belt runs approx 3mm from the said wires - it is a reliable system - the customers found this to be true - it will be still the same for my car. There are many more components under the bonnet which run at measurements of .002mm or closer everytime you start the engine and do this for the entire life of your car - doesnt make me or anyone sleepless - not ever.

We recently have been endorsed as a reliable supplier of an effective H6 kit by HPF - they have installed and tuned the kit - they know it well. They will continue to recommend it in its current updated form.

The updated form did mean the main SC bracket was cut differently so pipe bending is not required as it was

The SC drive belt was shorted by a further 28mm

The first 2 kits (made at same time) are working well on the customers cars - they have not reported any issues to me in recent months. I will be bolting the same parts onto my car straight from the parts bins in my workshop, no need to change what is working very well now.

Newest upgrades - Dual stage filtration for uncompromised airflow and filtration AND non contamination of the AFM

Those with auto trans should consider the IPT valve body upgrade - or similar product. I have been in contact with them and they assure me they have exactly what a Raptor customer should need for their trans

Along time ago, I talked about this with homeaway when he was thinking about gitting a catback for his Leg. I was surprised that he tune it with the same guy that I read about in this forum for his magnificent tuning ability.
Saffarco and me will be the first to tune an EZ30 and I hope that I can get so many tuning request for any subaru

I wish, the IAT's are high and even no different to pushing a turbo hard on a car. I was personally surprise the IAT's were high for a SC, but the car was tuned and compensate for any issues. If there were issues, you would have had massive pinging issues and you did not. Time was spent making sure high rpm was running well.

High IAT's reduces power tremendous.

Matching injectors are very important. Also having them test is the key

In the usa for many years, including other place, boost kits presented themselves with 2 options. With and without a TMIC. Those cars saw high IAT's. My problem with IAT it kills power and when outside is hot, well the higher it goes.

I also recommend customers getting an Innovate LC or LM for afr. But I would love to see for the 4cyl, 4 wb's and for the 6cyl, 6wb to know the exact afr per cylinder.

Every tuner is criticise by another tuner. Its expected. Its like politics. Looking at a log means nothing when no idea of the map. But keep variables help to what is going on. In remote tuning, the customer is ask many many questions over again.

If you had any issues with my tuning, you could have created dialogue for full understanding between all parties.

I would like to advice any SC potential customers to go to a turbo charge car, install a temperature gauge in the throttle body or in the intake header.

Another simple option is have the guy make a pull. Stop and car and feel the intake header. See how hot it is. You will be surprise you cannot keep your hand on it. Even better, normal driving, go and rest your hand on the TMIC.

Do not let people fightened up with facts that are actual real life stuff. Any turbo kits for NA should be IC. But we know the cost and manufacturers always offer 2 solutions. I recommend 3 The 2 just mentioned, but add Water Injection.

Because Subary runs the Intake Air Temperature in the MAF sensor housing, you see the temperature at the air box, not the intake. If I could have provide data on turbocharge cars running normal to high stock turbo or turbo boost, people could appreciate the data/info.

your correct about IAT specially with our weather. This is why I will get a custom vented hood and I'm trying to find a under tray cover to evacuate the heat from around the engine.
Also, my custom intake is warped with samco insulation tape and I'm trying to find a way to seal the intake filter from the engine bay.

The engine temp itself need to be managed specially the turbo engine and the H6 engine. We tried to find a radiator for our H6 engine but no luck. So, we will have an oil cooler for the engine oil. I'tll be consist of greddy oil cooler adapter with thermostat and B&M oil cooler with a fan that is controlled with a thermal switch.

Well some of the race STI's Spec C's and RA i work on sometimes see heat soak temps up to 80c. Yeap. So you could imagine the intake temperature at the throttle body. Always encourage my customers to press the IC Spray before heading out to get those IAT down before it naturally comes down.

Can you no get a custom radiator make?

Install a low temperature thermostat. Not sure if the STI ones can fit the ez30.

In all the 3R's I had tune, never saw issues with coolant temps in some hot regions. Your choice for the separate Oil cooler is good.

Sorry for the big graphs, but its shows to those who will be doing their SC tuning what stuff may look like. In case of the car pulling some timing, the next version release will have ign reduction in the affected area. You know this already.

My 2cents:
I can share some of "I wish's" frustrations re the bending of the power steering cooler pipes. Subaru changed the routing of these pipe/lines and as the S/C bracket was modelled off an MY07 we had to bend ours to fit. In hindsight we could/should have modified the bracket prior to fitting so we didn't have to bend the pipes but we were eager to install. Tim has fixed this so going forward it’s not an issue for future customers.

I went a different route then I wish and sourced injectors from Subaru so no need to have them flow matched (as advised by powerflow).

I wish brings up a good point, if you wish to source injectors second hand or brand new make sure it’s from a reputable place so you don’t have to have them flow matched. Tim sources his injectors from powerflow and they are reputable.

The belt running close to the cam sensor was an issue for me initially but with going to a smaller belt to what Tim initially supplied has giving me more clearance and the belt doesn't move around. I am also making a cover for it so if it does get close it will rub on the cover before damaging the sensor.
I had other little unexpected things pop up but this is what happens when you buy the first off kits and as you can see from Tim's reply he has taken on board issues found and implemented fixes.

The ambient temps here in Melb aren't has high so I/HPF didn't see the high temps that I wish saw but they did start to get up their when we pushed for power.

The recent dyno day at springy motors didn't show good numbers but numbers mean nothing. The torque and driveability has been transformed and for me that's what's it’s all about.

My car has been tuned conservatively, HPF could have got more power but without an intercooler I didn't want to push it and neither did HPF. Living here in Melb the ambient temps are not as high so the WTA cooler may not be required but if you do see high ambient temps like I wish did then I also feel it’s a must.

For me things like fitting a higher flowing fuel pump, WTA cooler, heat shielding the pod filter and intake pipes are more for safety . Yes the tuner needs to tune the car accordingly to the conditions but the more things that can be done to allow the tuner to tune the car safely are a good thing. An engine with stock internals tuned safely will be less likely to go bang!!

Also find a tuner who you can trust. I’m fairly happy with how HPF tuned my car for driveability over peak power but not happy that I was lied to regarding open source tuning.

I have no regrets on doing the s/c. I am happy with what the S/C has done to the performance of the car and I can’t say this enough to the people who email me.

I recently installed I wish's K2gear headers mated to an x-force cat back and magna flow mufflers, so I’m eagerly waiting how the WTA cooler works out.

Oil cooler best choice, the 3.0 has a lot of oil so cooling that is superb idea - Suzuki do this on some of the big bikes in the past - just oil cooling

Engine radiator - we could get custom one here in Aust if needed.
