Definitely a really nice looking car, love the colour. The rear lip is a little strange as it comes out past the sides of the boot, but I still like it looks very awesome.
Good stuff, I love seeing a car that's clean enough to eat off

Looks mint! Its come together very nicely. :good:

The scoop is actually a HKC speed cf one. ARC only made a cf extension that sits on top of the oem scoop.

So update time :)

I decided the coilovers I wanted to buy... http://www.facebook.com/StandardSuspension http://www.evolution-r.com.au/arc-evor4_003.htm

Getting them installed, wheel alignment and guards rolled tomorrow from Mao and Evolution R in Perth.

For those of you from Perth he's a well used source for parts like a Phat GT for the Perth WRX forum if you will haha

Will go out tomorrow night and take some proper pics of how it's sitting. I will be trying to get it as low as possible.

Will also be ordering rubber extension lip for the STI from Phat next week.

Which model c/o did you decide on? Their website would have to be one of the worst i've ever seen... or maybe it's IE that i'm forced to use at work

Yeah he has quite a poor website setup.

But the work is always good and he's well known around Perth.

Here is a link for anyone wanting to know a bit behind the suspension (has more info than the website)

In other news,

Car currently getting it's guards rolled by Des from AutoFX in Perth

Then getting my final adjustments to suspension to see how much camber/how low I can get it to sit on Friday back at Evolution R since the guards have been rolled.

My Sti front lip rubber piece is also in transit :)

If they are the chosen coilover for the Tomei time attack car then i think you can be pretty confident in their product

Just be sure to ascertain exactly which variant of the coilover was used

Ok update folks...

After having a little chat to Mao at Evolution R in Perth I decided on purchasing the STD R3 Coilover system that he supplies and fits.

Prices seemed reasonable and after doing a bit of research as to where they are used I was happy with my choice.

Booked the car to get fitted on Last Monday, the first problem that came up was the guard rolling, the person I originally called (won't name names) did not show up so after the coilover install my car was sitting at stock height, after re-organizing the guard rolling I was recommended to Des at Auto FX who runs a mobil guard rolling service in Perth, after chatting to him for a while he was very knowledgable in his work and what to look out for in dodgy people who do the same thing he came out and rolled my guards and did a fantastic job.

Then last friday I went into Evolution are to get my wheel alignment suspension and camber adjusted. After running some initial tests in and out of my driveway I could not go for the absolutely slammed/stanced look as I'd be smashing guards and damaging parts left right and center every time I entered and exited my own driveway.

So all up, a lot lower then before, little bit of camber, still very practical, drivable and all up a fantastic feel in comparison to just running lowered springs, car feels a lot tighter and handles corners far better than before, they are also not as stiff as I thought they would be it still does a good job of ironing out bumps on the road.

Pics attached... let me know what you think :)
