Car Battery Repalcement?

Postby WhiteGTB » Mon Dec 24, 2007 10:39 am

Time to replace the original car battery, any recommendations on....

- What is a good brand?

- Dry cell or wet cell?

- Where abouts from a Sydney location?

- Roughly how much?

Thanks in advance :)

I'd vote for Optima Yellow Top. I don't think the Odyssey PC925 I had in my old car was up to the task.

Had an odessey in my old car, it cranked well when my stereo was doof doof, but life longevity was a bit lower than expected.
Got the yellow top optima in my car now. happy with it so far and you dont have to change terminals.

I had the same sort of issues with my Odyssey PC925. It's great for weight reduction, just remember not to doof for too long when the car's not running :P

I have the yellow top optima in my car and i got in put in as soon as the sounds system was installed and recommended it highly. Cost around $350 from memory, works excellent in cold weather and has a long life span :) excellent with any sound systems
