If the defective part is the cause for your claim, the claim will be void.
However, if you have an accident e.g. where someone else hits you, then defective parts such as coilovers etc will be ignored (generally)

However, insurance companies can ALWAYS play the card that its not road worthy therefore insurance is void. But knowing someone who works in insurance claims, 99% of the time they dont care (with RAA & Shannons at least - steer 100% clear of Just Cars & parent co. AAMI)

Ive never had a problem with Just Cars or AAMI in the past, the opposite in fact with Just Cars where the assessor actually included pre existing damage into the claim stating "I cant have your car fixed and leave that looking like it is. " :D

I've actually made two third party claims with just cars (with previous cars I've owned) and on both occassions they didnt even look at the car. They just took the word from the repairer as gospel... (mind you they stated that they 'had a look at it in the driveway' but they didnt because it wasnt in my driveway... :? )

So I havent had any issues so far with mods etc, but other people may have?

Tyre must be 225/40/18 (prices from tirerack.com because they are much cheaper then locally sourced).

- Potenza RE050A $1233us del.
- Michellin Pilot super sport $1220us del.
- Continental Contisport 3 $1197us del.

No idea which to go for as yet though

Needs to be 225/40/18 for silly SA rules

Thoughts? Not sure why it's that cheap. Otherwise I might go the standard RE050A's

i have been trawling the internet all night looking for a legacy/liberty with black 18 x 8 inch Ultraleggera's and finally found your thread. They look pretty great, i think on a black car. I need to see what the look like in matt graphite silver too on a black legacy before i make my mind up!

It sits nicer with the lowered coilovers as those photo's are a bit old,

Update on the car:
- 15th booked with Karl for dump pipe and fixing my mirror indicator.
- 16th tune at Willall racing (Possible photoshoot as well)

Also since I have 2 detailers this Sunday, can I get my Lib detailed inside and out, full polish etc? It's going up for sale in the next few weeks and needs to look pretty....
