Pirelli tyres for my '08 Liberty Stn Wagon?

I need to replace my old original Bridgestones, and I'm thinking of getting Pirelli 215/45R17 P7000 tyres.

Cost is $170 each or $680 for the set including fitting and wheel alignment.

Are they a good tyre at a good price or is there something better out there?

Although I have no experience with the P7000's, I had RE050A's and then went to Pirelli P Zero Nero and the Bridgestone's were far better.

Thanks for your reply Cruisn. RE050As are the original tyres supplied with the Liberty '08. I don't think they're sold any more.

More than a year ago I was told during a service that my car (which had done less that 17,000kms) had needed the RE050A tyres replaced. I thought the tyres should have lasted longer. The car is mostly driven in the inner city (Sydney) on short trips.

You can still buy RE050A's. Theyre still made.

I bought mine at 80% tread and did 30k on them before hitting the wear indicators.

Id be checking your alignment.
