g'day from Perth

Introduce yourself

g'day from Perth

Postby champ » Sun Aug 01, 2010 11:08 pm

Well, I finally 'stumbled' onto the intro section, so here a little bit about myself. Got a link to this site from OzLiberty.com

Finally bought the MY07 Liberty STi after eyeing it for about all of 3 years. Was looking for a new car for a few months but never found one I like (maybe wasn't looking hard enough). One quiet Friday at work, I decided to google "2007 Liberty STi" to reread the reviews, and one of the search result was... well, lets just say I bought the car the next day. :D

Nice car.
I agree with the grille change, but only because it's the STi and the grille doesn't work with the Enkei rims IMO.
But I think the grille works with the GT.B Rims, keeps it looking like a HSV grange or something.

Sorry Chaotic BUT the grill is lame regardless of the Enkei's or GT Spec B rims. It was one of the 1st changes made to my GTB was the replacement of the grill.

Thanks Arith, no mod planned, kinda liked the look of the Tuned by STi, which is why I forked out extra for it. But who knows further down the track maybe.... but that grill has gotta go first  something kinda like your's maybe. Where'd you get yours from?

Instead of starting a new thread... thought I'll post here.

After almost a year of a gruelling FIFO roster, flying out Monday before the sun's up & back Friday after the sun's set - I'M BAAAAAAAACCK!

New job now based in Perth, so I'll get to drive my baby a lot more now. New job means lots to learn to catch up with & also means I have no leave up my sleeve to have much time off... so heading into the office in an hour or so. Loving it at the new place so far, & a bonus is that all work cars have to be Subaru Liberty's. Patiently waiting for the day when I will get one!

Hope to meet all you WA folks one day, in the meantime... have a safe holiday.

Gotta love FiFo work! At least now you get some time to spend with the STI!! Looking good, and yeh i agree with the previous comments, that grill only suits the GTB wheels, I love the honeycomb grill with the STI rims tho :)
