Mate congrats on a good pickup and on getting it sorted.

Any reason why they're not cranking the boost? With your bottom end, and considering you have some seriously high flowing heads, its a same not to see them put to use.

Yep agreed this car needs 28psi of boost and it should make a heap more power and make use of its potential.

Mick

When I got the car the tuner/builder said that the car was still being run in so they set the boost at 15psi little did we both know that the turbo builder also supplied an actuator for 1bar, they do remember the car making the power the origanal owner wanted at 15psi so this could also have something to do with it, i don't know why u would do this when the turbo is good for 22or so psi, they did try adjusted it with no luck and with Xmas coming they ran out of time as they had other bookings and mine took heaps longer than expected, I'm going to drive it around for a while like this save more coin then boost it. The guys want to do a pressure drop across the cooler and change all the cooler pipes as they keep blowing.
Revzone said to me that there are still many unknowns with this car as they never had it set up and tuned correctly

Ah it should still drive alright. Why don't they just weld lips on the cooler piping and use those heavy duty t clamps or whatever they are called? Did you check out the rev app in the end to clear cels too.

That's what I said about welding the ends so the claps have something to grab onto, the issue now is where it joins the throttle body, we will discuss things when I get money to go to the next stage, he thinks the cooler could be restricting things so I might need to test the cooler for pressure drop

I'm most Limey going to get that app once I buy the cord thing, is one any better to another?

Yeah, I just noticed a brand new dent in my drivers side back door.
It's so shit how people don't give a damn about other people's property, not to mention their own.
