whiteline grease [pref Bris north]

I need to lube some rear sway bar bushes. Looking for Bris Pickup if possible.

Go to Autobarn / Supercheap and just get a can of lithium grease. Same stuff.

If you're worried about it snapping like the one on another post, remember to tighten your bolts up with the car on the ground supporting its own weight, if you tighten it up when the car is in the air it will load up the bar when you drop it.

Quoted for truths and you get it in a tub for cheap.

I soooooooo dont miss having to regrease my Whiteline bushes every 4 months or so.

swaybar bushes need to be regreased every approx 4 months??????? :angry2:

I found that if I didnt regrease approx 4 monthly, the car sounded like an XB Falcon creaking and squeaking along the road by 6 months AND I tried a number of different greases. All the same.

I had A LOT of WL stuff under my Legacy so it was a PITA.

What about something like the cusco underbraces, would they need to be greased in any spots?

Only parts with polyurethane bushes will need greasing. Solid mounted braces eg H brace dont.

I found Whiteline grease and lithium greece too light and would wash out pretty quickly. I got some marine greece, designed for use with water. Greeced my swaybar bushes and didn't have a problem with sweeks for probably 2 years.

Just bought some marine grade grease at Autobarn.

tried to take off the front swaybar and one of the nuts is stripped, sigh. Also cut my finger quite nicely too.

Another job for you to do on my car Mark!

Instead of using the usual 12 sided sockets, try using 6 sided sockets. Holds nut better and less likely to strip the head of the bolt.
