@Gambit
i will ask Quaife about the two things.
The final price we will know after they have a "old" center to look. In the next days i will recieve one and will send it to Quaife, but they told me that the price level will be around 750GBP without shipping.
I think the most time is to find the 10 Subi owners - with you we are now 4 just 6 to go ;).

@kiks
it seems that it is not easy to get a member of rexnet. My account has status guest since yesterday - a moderator has to look for my account they write me ???

Im sure patience could pay off and there is a lot of people with 6 speed viscous centres on rexnet. A lot wouldnt know the f*cking difference so paint it STI pink and tell them its worth 7 torques or something and they'll jump at it.

Also contacting some workshops around, like MRT, perfourmance motorsport, subievolution, willall racing, michael south engineering etc would be a decent idea, they may have customers interested.

Until today no access to rexnet :(
But have a look what is possible with the right driver skills and a Subaru with 3 torque sensing diffs, i think the center is a PPG one, because the make one for the 5MT from the WRX.

Help needed, because i lost my source for the worn out center. Maybe someone from here has such worn out (aged viscous unit) center (38913AA111 or 38913AA112) in his cellar or knows anyone who has one.

@kiks
let´s play here about center diff ;)
If you realy have any detailed information about any issue of torsen (or helical and so on) center diffs, please let them know me. I like to make a build of center from Quaife and i don´t like to spend money for nothing. The torque split can from 75/25 until 25/75 (1:3 multiplication). So that, if also a Quaife in front and rear is installed, the maximum of "static" torque per wheel will be 0.75*0.75->0,5626 so 56,26% of the engine torque - original torque about 25%, but the poblem is, like you told, when one wheel (or axle) spins free and get abruptly torque back to this wheel (axle), so that the principle of linear momentum shows a affect, so this "dynamic" torque could reach a "worst" and destroying amount. But this is theoretical, maybe you have detailed information about and can help with experiences.
I found that some Mitsu Evo driver have a center from Quaife installed and for street use they like this - with over 500Hp. The first production line had some problems of to small planetary gears, but this problem is solved.

I found a vid with the PPG center on gravel (a torsen center too, but for the 5MT) have a look at the description at youtube. It´s proven that a torsen can be used sporty on gravel too .

BTW A sample original center diff is on the way to Quaife. If some people are interested - please PM.

If the centre will not be destroyed I can supply one. Just a 6mt viscous from a spec b.

Thank you kiks for your offer, but i found a center in the UK and it is on the way to Quaife, so in the nect weeks i will know how much it will costs and how much power it can handle.
First i like to have one, but if someone else like to have one please PM or email - because 10 buyers are necessary to do so, if not, just the one for me will be build.
I ask 2 ppoepple with the PPG center how it feels and drives and any issue is there, maybe i get answer in next days.

Don't need quaife
The silver WRX with silly sized bonnet scoop is mine in the vid here
http://performancedrive.com.au/nsw-impr ... d-1-video/
Full 06 STI driveline in a GC8, stock diffs not even any DCCD controller

Many other cars there are just running subaru diffs.

Plated rear diff (Best bit)
Good centre diff, ie decent condition viscous even
Helical or similar front diff

You'll love it.
My 3.0Rb liberty is about to get an Aus long ratio 06 STI box.

A few guys in the club have tried cusco tarmac centre diffs and these are fine if you like commodore feeling and basically the same as old style dccd with no controller (ie taily, I had a MY00 STI DCCD in the silver prior and nearly undrivable on the skid pan in full open)

Hope it helps.

@Travers
Front and rear diffs will bring a huge improvement, but in my opinion the "weak" thing is the center diff. Did you drove a subaru with torsen center?
For me the torsen center (hopefully) will be the best choice, it handles like a open one until torque lost will happen then it transfer the torque to the "other side".
Maybe two little disadvantages: first can´t close 100%, but during driving this won´t happen or feelable (with front and rear diff installed!), just for launching at very, very difficult surface - but with little braking no problem to launch.
second: standard torque transfer 50/50 and not like the open cusco (35/65) or DCCD (also rear biased) or some newer Audi torsen (rear biased), but if you can live with the standard split (50/50)from the viscous so no disadvantages.

Was speaking to a mate this morning about this. He did mention that quaife started refusing warranty on all mitsubishi quaife centres because they broke on modified cars. I lol'd
