LED DOOR SILLS

I got these led door sills from japan,

has anyone installed some. I managed to translate the colours of the wires for the drivers side and that works but the passenger side is different.
anyone know?

Did you buy them through PHAT? He offers after sale support.
Otherwise good luck getting an answer from Japan parts, because you are the only person I have seen that has bought these.
I considered them myself but seemed too much of a hassle to get the exact same sills in the GT.B but with a blue backlight, so I went the STi's which are all 4 doors.

Of course if you posted scans of the install guide that might help, maybe Mihai or one of those audio guys can help you.

Yes would have liked a full set, but not keen on putting STi stuff on my spec b
The wiring loom on the passenger side in the install guide (all japanese) is diff to my spec b wiring loom.
i can work it out with some pissing around but just being lazy hoping someone has done it before.

ill pull off my "seals" haha had to tonight and have a look at the wiring can u load some pics of the wiring of the sills that you got, im guess they are led's behind the sill, also if they are im sure i could swap em for say green, pink, or even RGB red green blue led it fades in and out a different colour, hahaha kinda what i do at work.

Do they turn on when you open that specific door or all doors? Or are they always on? Or are they only on with the headlights?

If they turn on per door, then we'd need to see the instructions. From there we may be able to help you further.

If they turn on with all doors open, then you could just run a cable from the working one to this one.

If they are always on (except when the car is off) then you can run to the cigarette lighter socket

If they are only on with headlights there is a plug in the centre console where your can connect the positive.

in theory they should be wired in parallel to the red lights on the corner of the door, not sure about any wire colors. hope this helps. put some pics up if you have any related ones.

I plan on doing this later in the year so i am interested in it.

Not sure what comes with my new Liberty. Picking it up on Friday so will know after then. Anyone know what sills a Sports Premium Liberty has?

The op connector has a door signal wire on pin 11 it is brown in colour (Parallel to the door setting on the room light), and pin 7 is ground which is black.
Both door sils will turn on if a door is opened with this wire though.

personally i think if that door is not open it should not be on, to do this read on.

These go to ground so you would need a relay to switch them unless there is a relay built into the door sil.
The Left front door indication switch wire is Light Blue / White and the Right Front Door Switch wire is Light Blue / Orange. (both wires then go through to door switch to GND)
