If that sensor is before the intercooler, its NOT "intake air temp" is it? Somehow I suspect that assertion - how would air AFTER the Turbo, before the intercooler, even with turbo not working hard, be within 2 degrees of ambient temp? Any temp other than that hitting the valves is useless to the ECU to set up fuelling and advance, so why would they measure it? There MAY be A sensor before the intercooler, but I cant see what is use could be.

can you direct me to where the air temp sensor is mounted after the turbo and or intercooler ???
