Hang on what's being tuned. Have I not been following this closely enough?
Are you doing E85 or something

Anyways keep up the good work, I like the alcons, something different to brembos anyway. Shame about not fitting under the Spec.B rims though bro. Would have been killer for your sleeper look.
Good luck with the tune, whatever is being done I'm sure it will be killer.

Michael, It has not had its final power tune, its still on the initial tune. Unfortunately such projects take their time.
Appreciate it all the same, dont worry we will catch up some time and have a good ole yarn about practicality and frankness.

Keiran, it will be staying on pump 98 for the time being.

Are you still using the Kando headers and up pipe? How are they holding up on the car? Looking to get a set of twinscroll ones for mine, is there any disadvantages with them. Hows the paint and heat wrap holding up?

hey Dan, yep still using them, they are still in great condition as there are no leaks whatsoever, they really are a great bang for buck header. The wrap and so on seems to holding on well, as long as your not taking them off all the time should be all good.

Have heard the only make a difference over the stock ones if you going big numbers 250+ kwatw.
would be a great upgrade for people wanting EL headers if they have UEL or otherway round though.

any ideas on a date for the final tune?

Well here is my review of the Alcon Mono4's running DS2500, i have previously run DS2500 in my old Renault Clio, but this was a long time ago so i can vaguely remember how they felt. However i can only compare this setup to the factory OEM setup. There is obviously a massive difference in size. However as far as a pad go, they are marginally lazy when cold, but it only takes 1-2 stops to bring them right up to temp and producing a considerable amount of friction. Peddle modulation feels very direct and positive when pushing hard on the brakes, maybe a result of the braided lines? i can feel how progressive the pads are friction wise especially when i am modulating the brakes between hard and soft. I am getting a very slight shudder at the very end of the my braking, not too sure what that could be? I am not running a hub centric ring to the new wheels maybe that’s the problem? However the true test of the brakes will be when i take the setup out to the track with semi slicks. Considering that the wagons have a dry weight of 1540kg~, add fluid plus driver and its a fairly heavy car especially when pushed around a race track.

Anyhow all in all the brakes are farken awesome !!! :D
