I'd rather have the whole package of the liberty with a bit less go.
Or the whole package of the liberty with mods and more go (when finances permit) :)

He wasn't talking about the ss - he just made a typo when quoting liberty power ;)

Having driven an ssv for four years, they really are not a bad car at all. Had mine from brand new and never had a drama other than the clutch which was replaced under warranty with a w427 item!

Lib will outhandle no doubt, but gotta love the raw torque of the six litre.

Trust me I prefer the lib far far more than the SS I think I would love my lib more even if it was a 1.5 naturally aspirated diesel haha

Anyone have any private plate suggestions? I've seen the thread but I can't think of any. Take into consideration WA can have a lot of characters haha

IMO I think that the lib is far better than the SS for performance as it's much lighter, handles FAR better and the AWD will give a much better executed takeoff. While all the fully sick commodore drivers will wanna drag and when the lights change they will smoke up and blow tyres the lib will bight down and be outta there before they can say "check out mah fully sick....." GONE!

Some guy from this forum who went from a prefacelift GT I think to a VE SSV, absolutely smoked me in a bit of a drive out near the Rob Roy Hillclimb area. Adhar was his username.

All he had done at that stage was an exhaust system and a tune and he was running about 260 ATW. No wheel spin or anything, was crazy to watch from behind as he just disappeared. To get that kind of power I would probably need to spend 10k, all he spent was 2k.
If you want cheap power on tap, can't go wrong with a V8.

On another note.

Sorry I just think that guy was completely wrong about the Lib being far better for performance. It's just more refined in certain ways that's all. Takeoff in a V8 is also so much easier than in a AWD turbo, so easy to fuck it up and get nothing in my car at the lights.

As for your numberplate, I like it. Photoshop it on to your car first though.

Good idea, should I space it in between or have it JDGT05?

That's what Photoshop is for!

But I think having it together is better. Would the number plate be shorter if you did that? I'm not familiar with your states plates.
