Clutches, what's everyone using?

Postby Jaz » Sat Nov 12, 2011 11:16 pm

I'll be up for a new one soon, so beginning my research, I'm inclined to go with a standard or HD organic, unless there's something better.

I'm running standard 2.5T, exhaust and tune, (175atw) plan on pushing no more that 210atw with any future mods, so bolt ons only.

Your standard exedy replacement clutch will do the job , you can also get them with uprated heavy duty plates, Jim berry in Qld do a good clutch kit using parts from sachs. Fairly inexpensive too.

Ended up going with a WRX STI clutch and flywheel setup. Saves me machining my existing flywheel.
