Took almost 24 hours but got the image downloaded.

Did a quick comparison and my v16 disc showed version 2009 where as this one is showing 2011.

So far so good, will test it out tomorrow on the way to work.

Good work by Grunt_er. I have downloaded and tested the Mitsubishi_MMCS in my MY10 Outback. The version indicates 2011 but the map updates I was seeking are not included, so I am yet to be convinced it is a V17 C2 equivalent.

I will be able to tell you on Saturday if it is updated or not, on V16 an expressway in my area was only partially built because the road only opened in September 2010, so if this is V17, then it should now show the road completely built rather than me driving in the middle of no where for half of the journey

I find V16 shows most of it but more just a single line showing it is planned. Aiport area is nothing at all.

Is the Subaru V17 C2 the same maps as the Mitsubishi MMCS or more current ? ?

The version I downloaded was uploaded by the user 6 months ago.

If the Subaru C2 version was released after this then maybe it isnt.

Doing a quick google, V18 is starting to appear, but not in our format yet

V17 c2 for Subaru only came out two months ago, but it was apparently delayed by the tsunami.

Three days later, I'm still 50% for the Mitsubihi version. I'm also in Adelaide and hearing the comments above - still pretty keen to get my hands on the real Subaru one. I can't believe we can't find scratch out a copy!! Maybe I can go test drive a new car, bring it home and rip the disc! Too bad I haven't the time...

Apparently V17 C2 is current to April 2011 even though it was only recently released (V17 covers updates 4/2010 - 4/2011).

I am definitely waiting until V18 then if that is the case before I would put any money down in any kind of group buy

Cool. Ill start a new thread to organise once i find out anything about v18. Ill be selling the car in about a year, so i'd like to be able to give the buyer the newest maps.
