No no I meant I will put some comparisons up of the two soon. So that people can see the difference between a hand polish and what the flex can do,

of course the flex gets much nicer results. I love my flex. I use LC pads, Orange for my compound, (Yellow if the paint is thrashed) white for my pre wax glaze/polish and red for my wax. Sealant if requested is done by hand.

I never got round to asking what your running? Flex?

I personally think hand polishing gives a better finish :).

Confusing thread, I would suggest reviewing what your using and a do a load of research. The yellow pad is the harshest and most aggressive pad in the Lake country CCS range, so you would rarely need to use the yellow pad unless it's in really bad condition. The orange pad is a standard cutting pad for moderate swirl marks. White pad is one below the orange.

Wax and sealant's are best applied by hand as you end up wasting huge amounts of products in the soft pads such as a red LC on the machine.

Lol, I told you I use a Flex in a PM about three weeks ago and you said you hand polish and when customer's ask you use the Festool ROTEX RO 150, do you now both the flex and rotex?

The 4" pads are for a 4" adapter, don't need a specific machine for just that size.

Yes, I polish and wax the glass on 90% of the cars I do, by hand. Comes out looking great.
