Thanks for the welcome. Can't wait to get the car. It certainly is an upgrade from the Peugeot and is just so much fun to drive.

I've had my eyes on libertys for a while and although my budget wouldn't stretch to a GT, I'm still happy with my purchase.

First mod I think will be window tint. Every car I've owned (its a short list) has had tinted windows. Quite a few recommendations on the forums for places in Melb I'll be sure to check out.

Once again, thanks for the welcome and lots of great info!

Quick pics of my new Liberty. Picked it up last night.

There are a few small dents I plan on getting repaired, and although it appears on closer inspection that the front windows have been tinted I'd like to get the tint sorted out too. The leather bolster on the passenger seat is a little dirty (cream leather), so I'm in talks to get some zaino to give the seats a good clean. Otherwise VERY happy with the car.

Quick question, we did our finance thru Esanda for our Outback, is there something wrong with them??

Just had the dodgy tint removed from my two front windows at CarTint.

On inspection, it appears that two different tints were used. Both windows weren't identical!

Spent two hours with Rob this morning at his workshop in Ringwood. He's certainly passionate about the profession and the results show.

Welcome! That's a nice looking car. I really like that dark charcoal colour. :good:

Funny you mention your tinting...I am going to Rob next week and when I called up, he offered to let me come down and watch another Lib get tinted at 9.30am today. Must have been yours!

Do you have any after pics? How's it look compared to the privacy glass?
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

It was! I was there until about 10. He was doing a WRX after I left.

Previous tint was awful. Aside from it being scratched, the protective coating had starting to wear away where the window sits against the rubber trim. They'd also just installed the tint without removing the door trims!

You will be able to tell the difference. Privacy glass is a lot darker. For obvious reasons Rob will only tint 35% (and he was dead against tinting my back windscreen, which I must admit I'm a touch disappointed about).
