Ahh yep since posting I did download V16 (C2) .. still seeding it if anyone needs .

But yeah like you I'd love to get V17 C2, as V16 appears to still be 2009 which is a lifetime with all the road changes happening these days

For MY10+ Subarus, we need to have the C2 version.
I downloaded the V16 C2 version and it worked like a charm. C1 will not work, so don't bother with that.
The first guy to download a V17 C2 will be our hero!!

OK success. I tried a long shot and it worked. I found a V17 for Mitsubishi torrent downloaded which took a few days burnt the iso image to a DVD-R and it worked.

I would have been very dissapointed if I had paid for the update however as some of the more recent roads near me are still not covered (recent being 3 years).

Anyway thought Id let you know, use your prefered torrent search engine for;

WhereIs_Australian_Maps_v17_for_Mitsubishi_MMCS

Hope it works for you and the maps are more up to date in your location.

The main thing is when you get the file dont just copy it to a DVD, it wont work. The file is an iso image of the contents of the original DVD use any decent DVD burning software to burn this iso image, this process will re build the original file structure on the blank DVD and so should work, I've read that DVD-R are better than DVD+R for the sat nav discs. It took me about 4 days to download.

This definitely works for the GenV... Downloaded from isohunt and burnt using freeisoburner v1.2. Haven't fully tested all the functions but will report back after I do some trips.
