Introduce yourself

Sydney newbie.

Postby Boogs » Sat Oct 01, 2011 8:06 pm

G'day guys,
Just thought I would introduce myself as a new Suby Lib owner..

Names Matthew, from Hills District in Sydney, proud owner of a '08 Liberty GT-B manual sedan that I've owned for a month now.
Love the car to bits. I'm only the 2nd owner, the first owner being a semi retired guy from Chatswood who pampered it and only traveled 40,000km.
My previous car was a Satria GTi that was attracting too much attention so it was time for something more mature as my time with modified cars are over.

I was originally looking for a manual wagon but just couldn't find one with low kays on it so had to settle for a sedan, not that there are any complaints..
I chose the Lib after recommendations from my doctor who has an 06 GT-B [and has been a Suby man since his first WRX in 1994] as it was something out of the different to the usual WRX/EVO crowd and less likely to have had a hard life but quick enough for me, not get any attention from the plods but enough room to pack a few bags and head off the snow each year.

The car is a total stocker. No mods at all, just the way I like it and will stay that way. Although I do like the stock STi rims but I think the standard rims are nice enough.

So nice to meet you all and maybe will see you around the traps one day. 8)

Cheers
Matt

Welcome Matt.

Car forums are the worst place to be if you intend your car to stay stock.

hahahah, true that about car forums staying stock, but after 18 years of owning modified cars and being around the place this one has to at least stay a stocker..

If and its a big IF, I was to do any mods, it will only be very very subtle. 8)

Thanks guys for the welcome :)

I agree lol. I just read the first email I sent PHAT "I'm not the kinda person to do big mods, just small ones here or there..."

hahaha, yeah I've read the post your mods section and there are some very nice Lib's in there but nah, I have to be subtle with this one.
The days of going overboard spending money on mods is over for the time being.
