Clutch problemss.... help

Postby Bee » Fri Sep 23, 2011 7:44 am

Hi Guys,

I'm new here... my first post actually :)

To introduce myself a little im Bill, I have a Liberty GT, B Spec 06 model. Have done some mods which include dump pipe, cold air intake, Casco strut brace, caso sway bars, TIEN coil overs, DBA slotted discs etc.

Recently as i put my foot down, no matter which gear i am in, the clutch slips and it doesnt hold, so i guess i am in need of a new one.

I was just wondering if anyone here has had to replace their clutch, and if you can recommend a better replacement than the OEM one. Keepinig in mind i want the clutch to be heavy duty to be able to hold over 200K atw as i continue to do mods... also dnt wna do my ass in on the cost, i have been told it can cost up to $1900!!!!, surely there is something good out there.

Thanks in advance.

Email a vendor on here call Phat GT, he has supplied and fitted a few cars with clutches that can easily handling 250kw+

You can find his email address in the vendor section.

about $1100 should get you an excellent unit (includes machined flywheel)
