Hey I'm thinking of maybe dropping my lib, I have a totally stock (no billies) MY04 2.5i lib wagon ad was wondering on your thoughts of how to lower it. I'm not into coilovers as I dont wanna spend alot, I know what you pay is what you get. So I was just seeing if any of you guys have ideas of cheap yet still quality way to lower my lib, thanks in advance

Cheap and quality are mutually exclusive unless you buy second hand.

If you're just wanting to lower, my advice would be to get a good set of springs rather then getting cheap sh!t.
Get in touch with Phat GT & look at the Tein S Techs. Good quality spring & it will make your car sit nicely.

Dunno how the phat spec ones would sit with KYB. Maybe too low? Check before buying.

There's a thread here, I think, that says the Tein S Techs with the stock KYB springs was really hard and horrible. It was in one of the Tein S Tech threads.

That was a response to one of my questions - compatibility of Teins & KYBs

yeah I emailed phat a while back about the stechs, I was just after any info if any other member has done something similar with kyb struts. Would Sti springs work? The drop wouldn't be as drastic to my very limited knowledge

So from what I understand you're looking to install lowered springs only & not replace the shocks??
Why don't you try Pedders sports springs?? Mind you, I have no experience with car suspension

My 04 safety pack wagon was lowered on king springs. I found them fine.
