5000 km service

Postby WeeGraeme » Thu Nov 22, 2007 10:58 pm

I noticed the other day that the service reminder sticker on the windscreen tells me to have it serviced at 5000 km or in September. I never realised it was anything but 5000 km. I still haven't had the service done. The car has only done 3500 km. Should I get it done now or wait until it's done 5000? Or doesn't it make much difference?

From memory you have an MY08 right?

If so, the muppets at the dealership put the wrong month on the sticker.

For what it's worth, my 5,000 service was done this week.

Did you want to keep your warranty - I don't agree with the time frames sometimes but they are the ones that are going to make your life tough if u ever need to claim

Mine is an MY07 which I picked up on 24th July.

Then I'd be booking it in.

That first service is the only one I do in a dealership, but you don't want to give them anything to complain about.

Gave you a warning? Do you mean that it spoke it to you?
