Hi from Bankstown, Sydney

Hi everyone,

Have only just joined the forum, after discovering what a great wealth of knowledge there is.

2 months ago I purchased what is now my third Subaru, and I'm from the Bankstown area of Sydney.




MY06 Liberty 3.0R spec B wagon, in what I think is called Violet Grey (not sure if that's the official Subaru colour name) .

Haven't modded anything yet, but just purchased a set of Liberty GTspec B Alloys from Wheelpower in Greenacre which will be installed tomorrow.

Prior to this Subaru I had a '99 WRX Sportswagon (written off by gf, not her fault ), and many years ago a '92 Liberty RS Turbo sedan.

Looking forward to my life in a Subaru once again.

love the tint, do you know how dark this shade is?? I'm looking at getting mine done soon, and welcome to the forum

I'm afraid I don't know the tint percentage, it was on when I bought it.

I do know that it's very hard to see through the side glass at night, I end up driving with drivers window down half the time.

I'm trying to contain myself with mod's just yet.
The wheels go on tomorrow, so that should keep me satisfied for all of 30 seconds

Looking at getting a remote tune done by that guy in Barbados. I've ordered the Tactrix Openport 2.0 connector.

I'll just sit back and enjoy reading about what everyone on this forum are doing to these great cars......for now

From your description and the pic, Ill gaurantee its 5% tint.

Id change your front windows at least. 15% is alright at night but still dark.

Just got back from having the wheels installed.



Sorry about the picture quality, all I had was my iPhone.

These wheels, off an '08 Liberty GTspec B, look so much bigger than the original rims, even though they are both 18".

Anyhow, I'm happy, and after 2 months of ownership, have started making it "mine".
