Really? Whereis is a bunch of tards.

Any other C2 owners interested in splitting the cost?

How do you know if your satnav is a C2 or C1 type?

If your car is a Gen4 it uses C1, if it's a Gen5 it uses C2....or something like that.

I dunno about that, this whole C1 C2 thing confuses me, i know they used to be referred to as "redline" and "non-redline" versions, non-redline being the one that lexus/toyota use and works in the denso gps systems

i need the redline version which works in the kenwood sat navs and is usually hard to find.

Still confusing to me then as I'm a Gen 4 09, currently downloading C2 V16 to see if it works.

Don't wish to use someone's badwidth if it's a waste of time.

I've downloaded the C2 version for my Gen 4 2009 GT spec B R & can confirm is does not work. I assumed as mine was the last of the Gen4 that there may have been a hope but not so.

I'm currently now downloading a C1 version but it's running at only 5kb/s so it will take some time.

So anyone have the V17 C2 then?

I would be prepared to go halves with someone or happily download for free as well :D

Am I right in assuming that none of my fellow GenVer's have had any luck getting this to work???

Nope, this is c1. Spoke to whereis and v17 c2 is delayed due to the earthquake/tsunami, but someone mentioned that the my11s were shipping with it. Called STI docklands and they didnt know and they don't sell them anyway. once I find out the deal I'll put a note out if anyone wants to "share the burden".

Good to get that clarification. The MY10s rolled over from V15 to V16 for build dates after March - anyone got a post March MY11?
