Changing Hubs on MY05

Postby GT_Tony » Wed Aug 10, 2011 8:52 pm

im sure its been discussed (altho i cant find any threads).

is it 'possibile' to change the Liberty 5x100 hubs to STI or SVX hubs 5x114?

i know its been done on foresters and WRX's, just havent heard anything about the Liberty.

would be intresting to know.

yes i know its easier to purchase 5x100 rims.. but its always good to keep the brain thinking 'outside' the box 8)

No you cannot. There's a massive thread on legacygt.com about this and I don't think anyone has managed to make it work.. I think you can do it if you get an STi DCCD gearbox with all the appropriate parts from an MY05+ STi. I'm just guessing though.

This would be so good if it was possible.

Think of all the available offset choices!
