Cusco Brake Stopper

Postby Kekotic » Sun Aug 07, 2011 9:28 pm

Does anyone know if the cusco brake stopper would fit in the 2.5i with the standard intake?

By the looks of it from this picture it won't, but figured I would ask on behalf of Devour as he wants to buy one but is concerned it won't fit.

It does but the stopper bolt needs a couple cm trimmed off its length to prevent fouling the intake resonator chamber.

Cut the resonator out and plug the hole is probably the better option IMO.

Nope, then the Helmholtz tuning will be off.

Yeah but its no difference to taking out the resonator in the guard which has the same effect.

Yeah you're right. Which is why NA engines shouldn't have the resonator box inside the guard removed either :)
