I need your 4th Gen Liberty

Postby process west » Thu Jul 14, 2011 8:05 am

Many of you guys may know that Process West produces a very nice upgraded top mounted intercooler for the 08-11 WRX. This intercooler will bolt into the 4th gen Liberty but we are yet to complete the under bonnet duct to complete the product for Liberty.

If you live close to Wollongong NSW and are prepared to leave your car with us for 3-4 days and would like a great deal on a Process West top mount please contact me.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the 4th Gen runs from 2004 to 2009

Where were you a year ago before I got my perrin….. :angry2: :angry2:

If no one comes forward with a car for 3-4 days, I could offer my car over a few Saturdays as long as my car is driveable after each visit.

Would love to support an OZ made product, especially one with a long history of great quality… Well done KEV.

To anyone that can spare their car, stop pissing in the wind and take up his offer quick.

I second that, was considering getting your WRX top mount but haven't decided! This could be the thing that pushes me over the edge!

Kev, I will call you when I'm on my lunch break today to discuss this!

The gen4 is divided into pre and post facelift so hopefully it fits both :D

Kev, It might be best to test a 2004-2006 model and a 2006-2009 model as the TMIC connector pipe is slightly different between the two models:

If you were in Adelaide I would be happy to be the test mule :D

Hey Kev, not to stalk you here, but us Legacy owners in the US are just pretty excited about a Process West Legacy/Liberty specific shroud/splitter as the PW intercooler is miles above any other option. I want to do anything I can to help bring the Legacy/Liberty splitter/shroud to fruition. So much that if you wanted to do a "group buy" sort of thing we could organize one, I don't know how that works with customs. I know several owners have purchased the '08-'11 WRX kit and it all works minus the shroud. In the US, '05-'09 Legacy GTs use the same intercooler and connection as the '08-'11 WRX, just the splitter/shroud in the hood is way different.

I've attached some pics just to be helpful and show our interest! All other stuff aside, I'm more than happy to be a test monkey over here, just say the word...

Hey Kevin,

can you give us a rough idea on pricing for the shroud?

Also do you think the cooler would benefit from some kind of heat shielding under the turbo side? it sits real close to the turbo I see?

looking forward to the update and pics of the LGT air duct :D
