Help anyone Plz, vac lines for B4/GTB

Postby wevil » Mon Nov 05, 2007 10:40 pm

Hey,
so its been a while since ive been on the site as ive been trying to put my very sick car out of my head as its caused me much grief... anywho ive found a mechanic friend who has taken my car and has been trying to get it back to the wonder that it should be (2003 legacy GTB wagon conversion). so he has fixed a couple of little things and its almost fixed but apparently the mechanics i took it to previously (insert a long string of very strong expletives) f%$^ed with the vac lines and they are all over the shop, hence the no boost off the primary. so my mate/mechanic (who is my new favourite person ever) has told me that if i can get him either the full schematic for where the vac lines should be going or even another B4/TT GTB he can fix the vac lines and i can finally get my car back how it should be.

The car is located liverpool way so if there are any twin turbo owners that can/are willing to take their car out there for a little while or anyone with the schematics for where the vac lines should go i would forever be in your debt.
Thanks
wevil

bump
so i found a few different diagrams of the vac lines (thx tangcla) and so far my mechanic has found like 3 hoses in the wrong place but there are still more that hes not sure of and that arent shown on the pics i got.
the easiest (and maybe the only) way to sort this out is to sit a car with the same engine beside it for an hour or 2 and compare the two.

Is there anyone out there that can spare a couple o hours one day out liverpool way (could even see if i could come to u if needs be)? Im kinda running out of options

thanks in advance
