Has anyone used these guys before? They tell me that they have Spec B wheels in stock then when I call to pay for them I'm then told that there are none... All by the same guy!!! Seems like they couldn't organise a shitfight

They're ok. Like Ozzy Tyres, they tend to speclialise in Leb Spec wheels.

But since they're right down the street from me, I use them out of convenience. They rolled my guards, sometimes they'll have good deals on near end of shelf life tires, and who can beat 20" wheels for $2,000 ... with rubber!? (just bought some for the Volvo). But they have a small army of migrant workers there so turn around time is pretty decent.

They do sell a small number of used wheels from owners who cast out their old wheels, so either they sold it by the time you called back or the guy had no idea what Spec B wheels are.

I saw the wheelpower ad.. I can pick up a set off Tempe Tyres for $350 though.. But now I'm thinking I might just pay additional for the service I receive

I can't fault the service I've gotten from Wheelpower/Tyrepower Bankstown in the past

See that's what's got me thinking I should just pay the extra to receive good service. I'll be up front and admit that I'm just another average Joe with a schmick looking car & just want to make it schmicker.. Yea I installed my HU by myself, but I had very little idea on how to do it. I have no idea about what constitutes a good tyre & what's shithouse.. I know my sizings after a bit of research over the last night..

I finally spoke to the guy at Tempe Tyres and he couldn't spare a minute for me to plead my case, whereas I spoke to Paul from Wheelpower this afternoon & he was happy to chat, even had the decency to ask how my day was.

Is an additional $300 on the cost of the wheels justified in the service from Paul?

I do have a choice - the guy from Tempe Tyres told me to call each day and find out.. But after holding for 10 minutes on all 3 occassions I really don't want to hold. If the guy wants the sale he will call me when he has them. But in saying that, can I rely on the dipshit to hold them for me to pick them up
