Hi Guys,

Dave here.

I'm about to buy a Liberty.

for the last six years I've been driving a Supra and have been active with the Vic Supra scene, but it's time for something more practical.

Would love a GT wagon but will probably get just a 2.5 NA Premium wagon and then think about basic mods after that. My misses needs to drive it occasionally and she's on her 'P's with auto only.

So what do people think of the CVT? I know it's not high performance but for city driving to people like it?

Hope to meet some of you soon.

Cheers

Dave

Hi Guys

Tomorrow I pick up my new Liberty

2.5i Wagon, CVT, SatNav, Tow, graphite.

Looking forward to it, I've never owned a car that was less then ten years old before so this will be a new experience.
Not really excited about the car, it was a practical choice but I won't miss the maintenance bills for my 18yo Supra.
After putting the deposit down, I went through a bit of buyers remorse, the Skoda was well equipped but cheep looking, the Mazda 6 had style but lower quality build (IMHO) but I think once I have the Lib, those thoughts will go away.

Future plans are some matching wheels, subwoofer and testing how well it tows the boat. I wonder how long I can hold off the temptation of upgrade to a GT :)
