In-car footage of the new Nissan GT-R running a 7:38 lap of the Nurburgring.

That's very very fast.

Yeah..

When I saw that the price tagged was dropped to a whopping 120K from.. what they were previously saying 150-170K..

That raised both eyebrows!!

I'd buy the Nissan GTR over the M3 definately, cheaper price tag too. I still love the Audi RS4.. but.. GTR is still a better package IMO. AWD and blows the Audi away. Hands down i'd buy it over a Porsche Cayman S, and I love those cars man..

Now.. just to wait for my pay rise.. and.. not get myself into a mortgage for a mew more years.. :p

What a car... but I think now that the GTR has been released... the other manufacturers will be setting the GTR as their own bench mark.

It's just gonna get better better :)

interesting video of nurburgring.....
not for the race between the porsche 911 GT3 and yamaha R1 although that's pretty cool, but for the dude who appears to be havin' a go on his moped, complete with storage pod on the back  .....

I suppose that if Subaru took the 3.0RB and installed a couple of turbo chargers (And intercoolers, waste gates etc), you would have a pretty impressive vehicle.

Given the things that Subaru develop, I'll bet there are a couple of Subaru employees bolting a couple of turbos onto a 3 litre block right now. :)

Where'd you see that? That would be good news... I was still expecting to have to fork out $140-150k.

My GT is currently on the dyno, getting ecutek'd.

I'm buying one. But patiently waiting for a no compromise v-spec version.

THE best value supercar of the decade without doubt.

The spec levels for Aust probably won't line up with other markets. Nissan Australia usually work with the factory to decide exactly what spec/features will be on models for our market and rarely do they line up with JDM stuff.

Given the low volumes and cost of ADR approvals etc, it's possible we will only get 1 spec level.
