Hey Hamish,

I have 2 cars I want detailed.
1) The liberty - inside and out (leather needs treatment)
Image
2) The Legnum - outside only
Image

Exterior on both has minor swirl marks etc similar to your car, and the headlights on the liberty have hazing. Can you please let me know how much to do both?

Cheers
Lee

Cheers again for the help.

On the bug eye i did a couple of passes with a 4" Lake Country LCC pad and Menzerna 203S cutting compound, then finished it off with a Black 4" LCC pad with Menzernza polishing 85RD. Gave it a alcohol wipe and then sealed with permanent sealant so they won't oxidise or haze again!

If it's any more oxidised or scratched up then some 2500-3000 wet sanding would probably been the go before hand.

ok i will give that a try .. before all i need was quick polish .. this time i will use some heavy pads and cutting compund ..

thanks !

It's not a heavy compound at all it's actually light. So is the white pad. Hotwire I'll send you a price tonight. Two great wagons. Coming to SA meet?

Did a rough photoshop, but really keen on doing a bit of modifying to the rear inspired by AMG. Already got the GT badge, now just the exhaust (Magnaflow 14830 or something wider), Need a new rear diffuser or moddify current to fit the wide exhaust tips and take off my spoiler.

Hopefully its possible with not toooo much trouble.

Thoughts?

Hey Hamish,

The photoshopped picture looks great. I think you should give it a go. My car has a rear diffuser and quad tips, but the amg inspired look is different, its sorta more 'flared' out i guess. Give it a go and i think it will look great.

Keep us posted on which diffuser and quads you go with, and if any modification is required im sure keen to know!

Best of luck mate,

Cheers.

That looks awesome. Definitely go for it if you can find the right muffs. It gives it a much more aggressive rear end. IMO, this would work better on a preface lift Gen4.

Phil I ended up getting the TCP exhaust. Would have loved to had a custom Diffuser made but with Tony's special on his quad tip mufflers i couldn't really refuse.

Will update this week with photos of the exhaust and some other stuff i have received that was put on yesterday

Aww! Ric! I didn't get to read them yet! You should compile all your edits and release a 'Liberty ASN - Uncesored Deleted Posts'.

Btw, great progress so far Hamish! You're starting to pick up an incredible pace so keep the momentum going! :D

Just read the entire thread, very tidy progress mate.

Question, what size tires are you running on the Ultraleggeras?

(Just needs gloss black Brembos in there. ;) )

Tyres are 225/40/18 on the 18x8 wheels

Falken FK452's, probably wouldn't go back and buy them again though :(

Stay tuned for Exhaust clips and engine bay bling tomorrow :D
