Rota Gravel Fitting??

So Im keen to get some Rota Gravels and I want to put on 235/40-18s on 18 x 8.5 Gravels.

I have three questions:

-Will these fit in the guards without rolling?
-If the guards need to be rolled is this an easy job and who would you recommend in Newcastle?
-Is it legal to have a 8.5 width on the tyre?

Any of your expertise will be greatly appreciated!

Tyre width and profile is good for said rims.

Can't comment on fitting though because you haven't told us your desired offset

Will depend on offset of the wheels... and how low you want to go!

I daresay that if you want it low, then you will need to roll them for sure...

you can get them in 18 x 8 too if you want, you might need to roll the rear arches with the 8.5"

The wheels will be on a stock suspension set up for the time being.

they will be fine mate. my mate is running the same size Gravel's with 225/40/18 Proxes 4's with no problem at all. i work at Tyrepower as well and have checked them over numerous amounts of times and theres no issue at all

Now its just colour, Hyper-black (which is kinda silverish black) or Gunmetalgrey (the deep brown bronze like colour)?
Any suggesitons? Its to go on a black lib. Im trying to get a black with a touch of gold theme.

anyone know if 245/40r18's or 255/35r18s will fit on the gravels in our guards?

You'll probably need to roll your guards with that size tyre. And on a 8" wide tyre they make look a bit bulgey.

the wheels are a tad big (18x8.5, +44)

HELP? I want to keep them, but think i'll have to wait for a swap to get 8's.

Did you end up rolling your guards? How much more space was needed? Could a narrower tyre have fixed the issue?

18x8.5 +45 works on Billy's/tein s-techs.
although rubber is 225/45.

no guard rolling was needed, although it would be a good idea (in my case anyway).
