Postby kennysti » Mon May 09, 2011 6:59 pm

Looking for a BOV to suit my liberty sti. Possibly a GFB hybrid or something that has a plumb back option. Anyone in perth would be excellent unless you want to post it (at my expense)
Cheers

I got a GFB respons, the one designed to be a direct bolt on for the liberty GT intercooler and its both plumb back and atmospheric switchable. I'm still waiting for it to arrive though. It seems to be the standard for most the members that are running BOVs that I have looked into so far.

I found mine second hand on ebay (private seller from eastern states) and I paid $125 which I thought was a steal. They retail for about $400 - $500 check out the go fast bits website for your local distributor. Though you can find on ebay some US sellers occasionally that are selling brand new ones for around $220 the one you want has the part number #T9001 its the one that bolts straight onto the liberty intercooler without needing an adaptor, plus it fits under the engine cover so no need to take a saw to it. 8)
