Hi everyone

Introduce yourself

Hi everyone

What a great site! :D

I joined because I'm putting my Liberty GT STi up for sale and was interested in advertising it on the forums here when my brother in law told me about the site.

I wish I'd known about it earlier. I'll be hanging around here for a while, regardless of whether the car sells.

Cheers!
Regards, Iain.

I hear ya.

When I got it 18 months ago it was my dream car.
The truth is, I borrowed a bit, and changed my employment and was able to get hold of another dream car - an Audi RS4. Cost twice as much, but it's not twice the car. It's very nice though ...
Need to sell Suby to get the loan down

Its a Silver Manual Wagon ... build 186 of the MY06 300. If I let my wife drive it, I could keep it ... but she tends to be a bit of a car wrecker. The Liberty's been my pride and joy, and I don't think I could stand it!

By the way, it seems I didn't introduce myself properly.
I live in Mooroolbark and run a Bathroom Manufacturing business.
Married with 3 kids.
Previous cars;
An old Toyota Celica with a worked twincam - wich it had handles well
A few Ford XR6's (one I supercharged - fun ride!)
A Tickford TE50 before the Liberty
An old 70's Mercedes V8 - prepped as a Variety Bash car
An old 71 Beetle - in desperate need of some TLC

Cheers all!

The RS4 is the current version with the V8.
Great car. I came across one second hand that was like new with 28,000 k's on it. I couldn't afford it - but I couldn't resist it either ...

I'm a Suby convert now, anyway. While I can't bear to give my wife the STi, I'm thinking about an Outback or a 3.0B when her Odyssey needs to go. I'm pretty sure she likes the idea.

I'll try to put my car in the for sale section, but I don't think I've been here long enough yet.
