Don't even need the dash off! Just pull the vent off. Two wires ( actually one plus a ground) and pull the vacuum line through the firewall, and that's it!

Ive fitted this unit twice now from the instructions provided and after fitting it kicks up a CEL and doesnt make boost. Seems to be an issue with tapping off from the BOV. There is definately no leak as i have put cable ties on all of the connections.

I brought the hose fitting kit from the supplier and was thinking its bleeding off too much air from the BOV.

Any ideas?

It should have nothing todo with bleeding too much air - it's a closed circuit, unless you have a leak somewhere.

Where did you tap the power line off? Did you take it off IGN2 from the fuse box?

They offer extra accessories for things like an AFM and oil temps, but I thought it said you can only have 1 extra accessory fitted at a time...is that right? I would hope not :(

At the moment, it's just the one auxiliary input in addition to boost.

There's only so much information you can display on two OLED screens!

Yep i have taken the power with an add a fuse tap from IGN 2. The gauge powers up and reads vaccum but after install kicks up a CEL and no boost is being made. I have fitted this twice now carefully following the instructions and get the same problems. There is definately no leak. Really starting to annoy me now!!

Try to isolate the problem - i.e. powered on VBG but no vacuum input, as well as vacuum input but disconnect the VBG. This way you should be able to see what the problem is.

Alternatively, try to power the VBG from another power source.

When i originally installed mine i didn't have any issues but it did take me a while to find a power source that didn't cut power when cranking over the car.
I can have a look when i get my car back tonight and check where i tapped it in if you like?

Failing that, email the guy you got it from. He was very helpful with me (I had a faulty oled screen).
