Grimmspeed 3 Port Electronic Boost Solonoid

Has anyone used one of these and how are they finding it?

Is the adjustment for the boost figure done at the tune? I like this as it is plug and play into the oem harness.

Some feedback would be appricated.

I had a 3 port installed prior to my tune by Vin.
Vin had no problems with it... Boost came on nice and early..... Nice and strong. :mrgreen:

My research tells me a 3-port solenoid offers very little improvement over a stock one.

Really???
Which combination motor and turbo modification has this happened on?
Surprising.
Some tuners love them.... and some can't tune properly with them.... Too hard basket for some.

Looking at Perrin or Grimspeed 3-Port. Any feedback on this one compared to others?
I've used a 3 port on my other Subaru tunes but not either of these brands. Are they better than others as they claim or just another 3 port solenoid?

I think they are very similar, can't go wrong with either one , whichever is cheaper .

I have a brand new in box grimmspeed one that I haven't ended up using that I'll probably be selling now but haven't got around to posting it up. If you're buying from the US postage can be a killer.
