for those who have 18" STI ENKEI RIMS.

what tyres are you guys using on them currently?
im shopping for a set of STI ENKEI 18" RIMS. and thinking if it will look okay with my current tyres. which are 215/45R/18.
i was thinking i would need abit more low profile tyres, something around 35 or 40.
are any of you guys using 45 profile tyres on the enkei's?

I currently have th 06-07 tb sti wheels in the 8" wide +48 with 235/40/18....... with tein s tech on stock bilsteins, smooth but planted overall ride.

They look great but buckle easily on Sydney roads, I've had mine repaired a few times. the lower the profile you go...

all 07 TB STI's came standard with 215/45/18, it shouldn't look too bad as long as the car is standard height

07 tb STI had those tyres on the same rim you're looking at getting Libz, so it's strange the suby guys would say it may not look right?

although I would tend to agree, they're too skinny a tyre and a bit high on profile, I've put 235x40 on those rims for a lower wider stance and with billies and s techs same as Tony they ride well.

All tb sti wheels are 7.5' wide with a +55 offset, unless your drving my car

How wide and low would you go on track tyres Tony .....30/35 series ...maybe 245's?
